The Number 62

Not the most awe-inspiring title ever, but it describes this addition to my blog. The following … facts all concern the number 62. Don’t ask how I picked it or why I picked it, but I did. Scouring search engines, my mind, books and other random sources I have discovered the following:

  • The average British mother spends 62 hours a week doing housework
  • Rembrandt did 62 self portraits!
  • The oldest recorded age of a horse is 62 years.
  • The average British male spends 62 hours a week sleeping.
  • 62 tombs have been discovered in the Valley Of The Kings at Luxor.
  • The Bible contains 62 references to the word ‘camel’.
  • 62 was the opus number Eric Satie gave to his first composition.

Another random and wide selection of facts for you to annoy relatives, friends, colleagues, class-mates and random-people-you-met-on-the-bus with.

Now, the madatory update on my life, my universe, but not everything. Thats far too wide a scope for one article.
Went down to a driving range and did pretty well. Not fantastic, but pretty well. My brother has developed a pointless knack of hitting the ball at a perfect 90-degree angle. The place was built in an old barn, which I suppose encouraged you to do well. If you managed to miss a ball and hit the side, or, God forbid, hit the ball towards any part of the structure it would collapse killing all inside. However, the bar was nice. Thats always important when doing anything like golf. Always have a good bar and restaurant nearby. “A website?”, I metaphorically hear you scream? Along with the buildings, this place is still in the dark ages and therefore doesn’t have a website.

Run along now, and get on with your lives before the boss/teacher/tall guy with coffee and an IQ equal to a very stupid cabbage that has just won ‘Idiot Of The Year’ finds you doing something that isn’t vaguely related to what you’re supposed to be doing :D
