The Best Idea In Technological History
Earlier today I stumbled (or whatever the technological equivalent is) across a rather ingenious and logical website. Now, being logical is not normally something that will draw me to a website, but this one was outstanding in both logic and ingenuity.
This site is solely involved in the destruction of the most annoying portable MP3 player since the invention of the wheel. They decided to raise money from people visiting the site and then spend it on an iPod, and smash it in front of all the iPod-loving nutters in the iPod store. Its a wonderful theory, and amazingly, it worked. The iPod was purchased and then smashed. I am downloading the video as I type, but its 37mb, so I could be a while. Since the iPod has (thankfully) been destroyed and will never work again, the website has branched into other realms. Game consoles are next on agenda: Playstation 3, XBox 360 and Nintendo Revolution. The XBox is currently in the lead with the amount of money it’s raised, followed by the Revolution, and the PS3 is lagging behind. Go on, donate! You get to see the video a day early and its fun.
