Free eBook

Having been busy for quite some time doing mock exams (I’m a GCSE student!) I have decided to bring you something rather extraordinary. I have been reading the Dilbert comic strip every day for a few years now, and I stumbled across a book by the same person. He originally sold it as a ‘real’ book, but noe he has released it as a free eBook for the masses to enjoy and be puzzled over.

God’s Debris is the weirdest book I have ever read. Simple as that, and I’ve read some pretty weird things in the 14 years I have been on this planet. Scott Adams challenges the main philosophies behind most major religions, managing to prove that God was suicidal and that religion contradicts itself in numerous places. No-one seems able to decide if the book is fiction or non-fiction. The characters are made up, but the issues are real. As Adams says himself, the book doesn’t fill any convenient publishing cubby-hole, but stands out as something extraordinary. It is certainly something to think and talk about, as everyone has different views on every point raised.

I urge you to read the book, if you haven’ already, and post your comments, if you’re not still engulfed with exams like myself. Oh, I have an RE exam tomorrow, I just hope there are no questions on any of the issues in the book, or I won’t know where to begin :(
