Time Is Of The Essence
I have recently been informed of what the British public consider to be the most time-saving inventions ever. Below is the list, and the percentage of nominations it received.
- Broadband Internet Connections - 84%
- Microwave Oven - 73%
- Teabags - 69%
- Hair Drier - 47%
- Ready Meals - 44%
- Electric Toothbrushes - 37%
- Blender - 35%
- Fast Food - 35%
- Car Wash - 24%
- 2-in-1 Shampoo and Conditioner - 23%
It’s not really suprising this list. The population are obsessed with the Internet and spend most of their time eating and drinking. What was suprising was what people use their extra free time for. 19% of men and 13% of women use their free time to contribute to their job in some way. 67% of people used their time to surf the web and book holidays etc. 28% used their time to socialise and only 22% actually used it to relax!
