Memory
Have you ever thought about all the really random things you can remeber that have no relevance to anything? For example, I just remembered something really random about my telephone. Now this piece of information is about 5 years old, so I’m really baffled as to why I remember it, along with a load of other random bits of information that not even I care about!
Anyway, to fit with this, here are a few facts about memory.
- No memory will last forever. Even memories you have had since you were a child will not last forever.
- Repeating stuff over and over will not get you to remember it. (Especially useful to those revising :P)
- It is possible to improve your memory with some basic techniques, especially your short term memory.
- Being relaxed will help you to remember something, not having it yelled at you.
- Those tapes that are meant to help you learn in your sleep have been clinically proven to not help you remember stuff.
- Memories are often linked with certain feelings, emotions or senses.
There you go, some random stuff. I also had a look around for some World records about memory, but I couldn’t find any.
