The Vatican and How Miss Harding Will Lose Her Job
One of my friends informed me that the Vatican was just a city in Rome. I beg to differ and think it is it’s own country. Unfortunately he won’t take no for an answer, so while trying to find more conclusive evidence than that I already have I stumbled upon this in the Official Monster Raving Loony Party Manicfesto for 2005:
Any child who is cleverer than their teacher will be allowed to take over the class and the teacher will stand at the back with a dunce’s hat on. He or she will then be on half pay until he or she has learnt enough to regain the upper ground. This is our policy for child empowerment.
I am optimistic that Miss Harding will soon lose her job to the woodlouce in the courtyard behind the classroom.
