The Heat, Ponds And Comments
OK, lets take this in a very odd order. Firstly: ponds. 2 years ago I found one in our garden and finally it has been filled up with water, so now we’re building a waterfall. At the moment it looks like it’s about to fall over, and thats because it probably will. This is due to it’s current position atop a large tower of bricks under each level. Photos you say? Well, I know you couldn’t care less, but what the hell:

And then the waterfall:

Now, onto the comments. I recently noticed in my spam catcher that one of the spam comments was entitled Hey Jane! I am pondering now how anyone could expect me to approve a comment with that title when the name of my blog is Rob’s Blog. Also, the comment had over 700 links in it to various places selling viagara, knocked off DVDs and all the other stuff found in the Wholesale and Miscellaneous section of eBay.
Finally I come to the heat. A few kids on a forum have managed to make themselves a rocket launcher and some crude missilies. It’s nice to know that in the event of the UK being invaded, the Hoodie-Empowered Army of Teenagers will keep us safe with their High Explosive Anti Tank missiles. Unfortunately they will be too pre-occupied to partake in Higher Education And Training, but this will Help End Auto Theft. Perhaps to co-ordinate this vigilante group we could use a Headquarters Effectiveness Assessment Tool coupled with a Helpdesk Expert Automation Tool to reduce labour costs. However, finding somewhere foll all the teenagers to stay while helping save Blighty could cause an uproar from the Hotel Employees Action Team.

Ah don’t worry about that tower of bricks Rob, what you do is mix up some cement, yes? Good, then just get your lovely pile of cement and slap it right onto those towers! Just smooth it over and it will look proffesionally done. I solved the same problem with my broken dining room chair, the chair’s legs had snapped off so I just slapped on some cement here and there and “Hey Presto, get off that chair !”, it was ruined and a block of cement and wood. So therefore I bought a new dining room chair. See, problem solved with cement! Anymore home DIY tips, just check out my DIY website at www.al-jazeera.com/ofcourseitsaDIYwebsite!/

Duffman, I admire your wit and wisdom. I shall prop this tower up with broken pieces of dining room chairs immediately.

I started with a small tube. Slowly I have added three sections. Yesterday, I added 50′ drip water line coming to keep the ponds at a full level during the heat of the Oklahoma summer heat wave. Now if I could just leave the gate open and keep the ducks from making the yard ponds their own private swiming pool. Life goes on. Keep working and enjoying the POND.
