Political Ambition
A week is a long time in politics, and is also quite a while in, say, a chemistry lesson, but that little quote has never really stuck. Anyway, as I am sure many of you know, the Tories recently changed their logo from a torch to a squiggle. I was going to put the two up here to compare, but NOWHERE on the web has the new squiggle. However, searching for the new logo I found another logo change back on 15th September 2004, which was not as radical and really insignificant. Exactly 2 years to the day they changed the logo for the squiggle. The BBC shall provide actually:
compared to the old logo:
Now, this logo designing thing looks quite easy, the work of a three-year-old it was described as. The pay is pretty good too, £40k to think of that design. Although political parties don’t change logos that often (once every two years, on the same day…) the pay is still quite good, and I’m sure other people would like their own squiggles. I did notice a startling resemblance though to images like these:

Not exactly original, and even Micro$oft can do quite well. This, I’m thinking, could be quite a good career move, if only I had taken graphics.
