Sociological Study Into Whether Teachers Are Marxists
I’m kinda pre-occupied at the moment with carrying out a survey into what our teachers think of the school, and therefore whether they are Marxists. If I find out anything interesting then it shall appear here. My post today will therefore be quite brief.
Don’t knock the weather. If it didn’t change once in a while, nine out of ten people couldn’t start a conversation.
We British are very good at stating the blindingly obvious. For example, while taking the short walk back from Tesco to my school this lunchtime (a 5 minute walk) the three of us managed to make the statement “It’s very cold” about 3 dozen times, albeit in various guises and different words each time. We then managed to spin a 15 minute conversation in Sociology about how cold it was and whether we should complain. Britain may have bad weather, but by God do we put it to good use.
