Questioning the Government

I have many books filled with random information that I find frequently useful for furthering my useless knowledge and ideas about the World. (Note: before anyone points out that sentence may be contradictory, I am stating the knowledge is useless, but the act of knowing it is not. Glad I cleared that up.)

I spotted in one of these books, The Deeper Meaning Of Liff (Douglas Adams and John Lloyd, 1990) today the following definition:

Patkai Bum (n.)
Mysterious illness afflicing recently deposed heads of state which means they aren’t well enough to stand trial.

I am wondering if Adams and Lloyd were 17 years ahead of their time, and a certain Mr Blair may suddenly come down with smallpox, despite it being the only disease ever to have been successfully completely eradicated.
