University
I have been quite busy recently researching various universities and the areas in which they reside. I have learnt a few things trawling through the prospectuses:
- All universities are “World renound for our research”
- All universities are “among the top 5 in the UK” according to some guide
- It never rains. Ever.
- All university accommodation is en-suite and has gold fittings
- Students are never unhappy, bored or generally fed up
- They all “have easy access by rail and road”
Also, my Dad is determined to make the point that Exeter University is “on a hill, ya noo”.
Such is the nature of marketing - not a single university will admit its faults or areas where its trying to improve. They have all decided they are perfect, so really have nothing to offer against the others. Back to the student union alternative prospectuses then
